France warns of a rise in imported dengue cases preceding the Olympics

French health officials are warning the public about potential rises in imported dengue fever cases as tourist numbers rise ahead of the Olympics. The World Health Organisation (WHO) regional office has reported more than 5.2 million dengue cases in the Americas, with numerous countries experiencing significant epidemics.
