Mpox vaccine recommendations for travellers

The World Health Organisation have recommended mpox vaccines for travellers heading to areas experiencing spikes in the new mpox variant (clade 1b). Such countries include Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya and Rwanda among others. ​Authorities have also recommended that at-risk countries look to engage in cross-border collaborations in an attempt to manage the number of cases.
