Overview

Anguilla is the most northerly of the Leeward Islands and includes several smaller islands and cays. These are low-lying coral islands covered in scrub and fringed with white coral-sand beaches. Tourism, boat building and fishing are the main sources of income.

The climate is tropical with average year/round temperatures between 24°C and 30°C. Rainfall is erratic and the hurricane season is from July to October.
