Overview

The Isle of Man is a self-governing crown dependency located in the Irish Sea between Ireland and Great Britain. It is 52 kilometres long and 22 kilometres wide at its widest point. Its area is 572 sq. kms. Roughly 85,000 people reside on the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man has a temperate oceanic climate. Average rainfall is higer on the Isle of Man than throughout the British Isles. February is the coldest month with average temperatures of 3.4C to 7.9C, while August is the warmest with averages of 12.4°C to 18.1°C.
