Dengue in Phuket Thailand

With nearly 80 chikungunya cases in Phuket in just a few weeks, the local authorities are endeavouring to raise the awareness of the mosquito-borne disease to the public.  Countrywide up to early December, over 2000 cases have been reported with the most cases in Songkla, Satun, Narathiwat, Phuket and Pattani.  Insecticide fogging has commenced to try and contain the outbreak.  Read more
