Monaco is a tiny coastal principality in south-eastern France (the second smallest independent state in the world) covering 1.9 sq. kms. Monaco fronts the Cote d'Azur. The climate is Mediterranean with hot, dry summers and cool, rainy winters. The temperature varies between 10°C in January and 25°C in July.
