Puerto Rico declares dengue fever a public health emergency

A dengue outbreak that has affected more than 550 people this year has been declared a public health emergency. The majority of cases are reported to be in San Juan, the capital city. The last dengue emergency alert was 12 years ago, in 2012. Read more
